Report on Supported Business Enterprises under AEH in Malawi

About 32 youth business enterprises received entrepreneurship trainings and mentorship and about 7 of them received grant funding for their activities.

Some of the success stories, challenges, and opportunities facing the funded enterprises are explained below.

APAC Investment is in the business of buying and selling fish. The business is established in Mchinji, with shops at Mchinji Boma opposite the magistrate court. Two other shops are at Walilanji and Namitete trading centres. To expand the business to other areas such as Mponela-Dowa, APAC applied for the grant award funding. APAC Investment is a registered entity with Malawi Business registration number MBRS1003877. The business was awarded MK 1,000,000.
